Merry Ln. Water Main Replacement Project

Dear Valued Customer,

Tualatin Valley Water District (TVWD), your drinking water provider, has completed the Merry Ln. Water Main Replacement Project.

The project included:
  • Relocating and replacing a 4-inch cast iron water main near the intersection of SW Merry Lane and SW Scholls Ferry Road/SW Denney Road.
  • Installing two underground concrete straddle blocks to provide additional support for the water main. The straddle blocks will be installed:
    • Along the curb near 7035 SW Merry Lane, in the public right-of-way
    • At the intersection of SW Scholls Ferry Road and SW Merry Lane 
To close out the work, Washington County inspected and approved the paving and restoration to make sure everything meets their roadway and public works standards.  

TVWD needed to complete this work before Washington County Land Use & Transportation began its Denney Road Project. Washington County's project will include improvements such as a traffic signal, turn lanes, bike lanes, and ADA-accessible ramps.
