Dear Valued Customer,
On Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the water service to your home on NW Crady Lane will be temporarily shut off.
The shutoff is needed so Tualatin Valley Water District (TVWD), your drinking water provider, can complete planned water system maintenance. Work will include disconnecting a section of unused water main under NW Crady Lane from the water system.
During the shutoff, water will not be available from faucets, showers, toilets, or appliances that use water, like dishwashers and washing machines.
Please note: Crews will be onsite from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., but the water service shutoff will occur only between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

What to Expect
During the shutoff:
- Water will not be available from faucets, showers, or toilets.
- Water-using appliances, such as dishwashers and washing machines, should not be used.
- Access to your home will be maintained.
- Expect brief traffic delays near the work area.
- You may notice construction noise, dust, and minor vibration.
- You may also see construction vehicles, equipment, and materials near the work area.
- Temporary changes or restrictions may affect parking, sidewalks, bicycle travel, or vehicle traffic near the work area.
- Mail, deliveries, and garbage service are expected to continue as usual.
How to Prepare for the Shut Off
Before the Shutoff:
- Fill clean containers with 3 to 5 gallons of tap water for drinking, cooking, and flushing toilets.
- Store extra water if you have a larger household or business needs.
During the Shutoff:
- Keep all faucets and water-using appliances turned off.
After the Shutoff:
- Turn on a faucet to check if water service has returned.
- If no water comes out, turn it off, wait 15 minutes, and try again.
- Once water returns, run cold water for about 2 minutes to flush your plumbing.
