The City of Edmonton invites residents’ input into projects, policies and initiatives that grow communities, establish government services and prepare the city for the future. Below are current opportunities for Edmontonians to shape the city.
Changing neighbourhoods to meet changing needs:
- Edmonton Energy and Technology Park (EETP). The City has received an application to amend the EETP Area Structure Plan to allow for data centres and power generation facilities to be included as permitted uses in the Medium Industrial Precinct. The application also requests the eco-industrial principles for the park to be limited to the Petrochemical Cluster Precinct. Engagement for this land development application is open until October 25. Share your feedback at engaged.edmonton.ca/EETPDataCentre. Find more information about data centre development at edmonton.ca/DataCentres.
- City Pulse survey. October's City Pulse survey is live! Residents are invited to share how they transition into fall and winter, as well as their feedback on how they use River Valley parks. The survey is open until October 20 at edmonton.ca/Surveys.
