City invites input on Residential Parking Program
October 19, 2026

The City of Edmonton invites residents’ input into projects, policies and initiatives that grow communities, establish government services and prepare the city for the future. Below are current opportunities for Edmontonians to shape the city.

Changing neighbourhoods to meet changing needs:
  • Residential Parking Program. As Edmonton grows to a city of two million people, curbside space has become an increasingly valuable public asset. Curbside space serves needs beyond parking, including deliveries, passenger pick-up and drop-off, transit access, service providers and more. The City is modernizing its approach to curbside and parking programming, including the Residential Parking Program, and wants to hear your opinions. From now until November 15, take the online survey or a quick poll, attend a pop-up event or explore the Curbside Compass Interactive Parking Tool at engaged.edmonton.ca/ResidentialParking.
  • Edmonton Energy and Technology Park (EETP). The City has received an application to amend the EETP Area Structure Plan to allow for data centres and power generation facilities to be included as permitted uses in the Medium Industrial Precinct. The application also requests the eco-industrial principles for the park to be limited to the Petrochemical Cluster Precinct. Engagement for this land development application is open until October 25. Share your feedback at engaged.edmonton.ca/EETPDataCentre. Find more information about data centre development at edmonton.ca/DataCentres.
Supporting healthier and more inclusive communities:
  • City Pulse survey. October's City Pulse survey is live! Residents are invited to share how they transition into fall and winter, as well as their feedback on how they use the River Valley Parks. The survey is open until October 20 at edmonton.ca/Surveys.
Details about City public digital engagement activities are listed at engaged.edmonton.ca, with all opportunities at edmonton.ca/PublicInvolvementCalendar.
