Beverly Bridge fully reopens after rehabilitation work
October 26, 2026

Beverly Bridge has fully reopened following rehabilitation work to extend the bridge’s lifespan and improve safety for all users. All lanes are open to vehicle traffic, with sidewalks accessible to pedestrians. To minimize traffic impacts, construction was staged over two years. Work included:
  • Concrete deck repairs
  • Waterproofing
  • Deck paving
  • Bearing and abutment repair
  • Removal and replacement of barriers
  • Steel girder repairs
  • Upgraded street lighting
Some minor deficiencies not required for the safe operation of the bridge will be addressed in 2027, and the bridge may require lane closures for a short time.

The City appreciates everyone’s patience and cooperation during construction.
