Effective January 1, 2027, the Plan will move to a new pharmacy vendor, RxBenefits. This new partnership will offer more effective ways to address rising prescription drug costs while improving the member experience through better tools, expanded clinical resources, and greater transparency. We recognize that a change like this can bring questions and uncertainty. Our goal remains to balance affordability with meaningful access to medical care, with continued support for LGBTQIA+ participants with respect to transition-related therapies.
IMPORTANT: Beginning January 1, 2027, you must present your new 2027 Highmark ID card when filling prescriptions or receiving care, as old cards will no longer include the necessary prescription benefit information. New ID cards will be available in the MyHighmark member portal starting January 1, 2027.
