Achievement Assessments Spring 2024 Training Modules

Spring 2024 training modules are now available in the Arizona Learning Management System (AzLMS). Please see the Achievement Assessments Training Requirements for information about each training module to be completed by each user role.

Achievement District Test Coordinators (DTCs) were sent a Welcome Email yesterday with information to self-register in the AzLMS system. DTCs who already have access to AzLMS for AZELLA will not receive a Welcome Email but may now access the Achievement training modules within the AzLMS. When logging into an AzLMS account, the user will need to select their district and school (if applicable) to ensure training completion can be correctly tracked.

The AzLMS Welcome Email includes links by user role that DTCs may send to their testing staff to allow staff access to the modules within AzLMS. To access training modules within AzLMS, testing staff must use the links to self-register for an account. DTCs must complete trainings within AzLMS for tracking purposes. However, DTCs may choose to present required training modules to staff in a group setting outside of AzLMS. Whether testing staff complete training in AzLMS or outside of AzLMS, DTCs are responsible for tracking staff completion of training.

DTCs should complete all required training modules no later than February 23, 2024. All testing staff must be trained prior to administering any tests.

In addition to the Achievement training modules, there are two AzLMS trainings available in AzLMS - Using the LMS Learner Portal and Managing Learners in the LMS. These LMS trainings should be completed first.

DTCs have two user roles in their AzLMS accounts - Learner and Manager. DTCs must complete trainings under the Learner role in order for the training completion to be captured. Be sure to click through the final slide after the Knowledge Check at the end of each module so that training completion is recorded. DTCs will use the Manager role to run reports to track training completion for other testing staff in the district or charter.

For more information about accessing and using the AzLMS system, please register to attend the Friday Focus webinar, Pearson's Arizona Learning Management System (AzLMS), to be held this Friday, December 15, 1:00-2:00pm. This webinar will also be recorded and will be posted on our website afterwards.
