January's Event Highlight |
|
In each issue of our newsletter, we highlight one of our events. Some people ask, do you guys do events year round? Of course! December is Rifleman weather! Just ask George Washington, right? In this issue, we want to showcase a recent Known 25m rifle clinic in Kerrville, Texas on December 9 & 10th, 2023. Below are some words from the Shoot Boss GenX Minuteman.
"This is the best way I can describe this amazing event. Miracles started blessing our Kerrville, TX event when we increased our student head count from one person up to four with three weeks remaining until the event. Ok, four students certainly isn't a record breaking attendance, but enough for us to get out there and spread the word of Freedom. As the event date grew closer, the student number kept increasing! Within two days before the event, we went from 8 students up to 13!!! This was wonderful to see! The weather was set to be cooperative, for once, and the seasonal excitement helped increase our student numbers."

January 's Marksmanship Tip |
"Yes, that WILL change your zero!" |
This month’s marksmanship article is another great one from our archive. Below is a quote from the article.
"Often, during the afternoon of a shoot, we'll see shooters' groups start to shrink -- great! -- but find they are not on the target -- not so great! -- even though the rifle was zeroed at 25 meters in the morning. Punching out a nice 4 MOA group but getting a poor score for it can be frustrating. What's going on?"
