Updates and Reminders - February 16, 2024 |
Achievement District Test Coordinators (DTCs),
Students have been uploaded to the PearsonAccess Next (PAN) sites for AASA, ACT Aspire, and ACT. Students will be uploaded for AzSCI on February 19. Any newly enrolled students or students that were missed in ADE's upload will need to be added by the school or district in preparation for testing.
District Test Coordinators should now be checking regularly for work requests (student transfers) that are waiting for approval for AASA and ACT Aspire. Please look for the red bell at the top of the screen in PAN. A red bell indicates that you have a work request waiting for approval. |

Training Modules in the Arizona Learning Management System (AzLMS)
All Achievement DTCs must complete training modules in the AzLMS platform no later than February 23, 2024. All other testing staff must receive training prior to administering any tests. Refer to the Achievement Assessments Training Requirements for guidance in determining which training modules must be completed by each user role. |
Adding Users for AASA and AzSCI
Users may now be added to PearsonAccess Next (PAN) for AASA and AzSCI.
Instructions are provided in the PAN User's Guide and the Achievement: PAN for DTCs and STCs module for exporting a school or district's list of PAN users from Spring 2023, updating the user file, and then importing the user file to PAN for Spring 2024. Please note that this functionality in PAN is available until March 1st only. After March 1st, the user import file may still be utilized; however, DTCs will no longer be able to export the Spring 2023 list of users after that date. |
ACT Aspire "Chat with an Expert"
Pearson has scheduled two ACT Aspire "Chat with an Expert" sessions. These sessions will occur in Microsoft Teams. Both sessions will be recorded and posted in the ACT Aspire PearsonAccess Next site under Support > Documentation. Please use the links provided below if you would like attend these sessions. There is no registration for these events. If you have questions about ACT Aspire, please plan to attend.

The third ACT-hosted webinar of this school year will be held on February 21, 2024. All test coordinators should plan to attend the live event or view the recording on-demand following the live event.
