| Minimum Spend Invoicing 2023/24 |

Dear colleague,
Our records suggest that your annual spend this year may fall below the £5000 requirement. If this is the case, an invoice will be raised for the difference between your actual spend and the £5000 threshold. Spend is calculated to include all purchases made between 1 September 2023 and 31 August 2024, across all your organisation’s sites and net of VAT. In addition to qualifications, spend on resources, EPA and other products and services are considered, when calculating your annual spend. You will receive any invoice in the later part of this year.
Payment will be subject to Pearson's usual payment terms of 30 days, and failure to pay in time will constitute a breach of your payment terms and conditions.
If you no longer wish to offer vocational qualifications with Pearson, please let us know by completing the exemption request form so that we can start the centre closure process and prevent an invoice from being raised. |
If you believe we need to amend our records to exclude you from minimum spend invoicing, please also complete the exemption request form. The following centre types are excluded from this activity:
- Charities (charity registration number is required)
- Special Educational Needs or Special College centres
- PRUs
- Prison education centres
- NHS centres
- Other services (fire, police & armed services education centres)
- Schools (provision for under 16s)
- Centres which were newly approved after 1 September 2023.
- Adult Education Centres (local authority-run centres)
