Join us for a 90-minute webinar on Wednesday, April 3 from 10:00 to 11:30 am to discover an important ministry to children and families: offering summer camps at UU congregations! Hear from experienced religious educators and volunteers as they share insights about camp activities, staffing, challenges, and tips for starting your own camp.

Bring your questions for a lively Q&A session with our panelists. For those unable to attend our live session, we will be recording the webinar and posting it to LeaderLab. Please register whether you plan to attend live or watch the recording; you will receive all pertinent information and links as they are available.

Registration is free and required. You will receive the Zoom link in your confirmation email, and as a reminder before the event.

Registration will be open through the day of the event - Wednesday, April 3. We look forward to you joining us!
A murmuration of birds fly against a pink sky. Superimposed on the field and tree landscape at the bottom of the image are the words Liberating Practices.
Our theme for our April gathering of Liberating Practices meeting is Hello, People! Challenges of Communication and Engagement. It can be hard these days to get people’s attention - even our own people, let alone potential guests or newcomers. Getting volunteers for our programs and committees also gets increasingly difficult. If we shout louder or beg harder, will people hear us? Or do we need new practices for our current context?

Our gathering this month will be Thursday, April 11 from 7:00 to 8:30pm via Zoom. Sign up here to receive information and items for reflection before the meeting, and the registration link. The registration deadline is Wednesday, April 10.

Next to a black chalice the text reads 'UU Faith Formation in 2024 and Beyond' and on the right reads 'NER Presents Beyond Sunday School: What is Working in Congregational Religious Education?' on a green background.
Join us on Thursday May 9 from 6:30 to 9:30pm ET for an evening of questions, conversations, and wonderings about UU faith formation in 2024 and beyond. Save the date now, and stay tuned for more information and registration coming soon!

Spiritual Deepening through Worship & Small Groups
The spring session of Spiritual Deepening through Worship and Small Groups is presented by Congregational Life in conjunction with the Center for Congregational Spirituality. The course will convene on Saturdays, May 4 through 25 at 11:30am ET for about 90 minutes each.

This four-session course will lead participants through a process of planning a liturgical year that is authentic to their congregation, gathering resources on the year’s seasonal themes, integrating those themes through communal spiritual practice in worship, creating opportunities for spiritual practice in small groups, and inviting participants to engage in individual practices centered on the theme.

Registration is required for a fee. More information on the course and structure is available.
