We hope you had a restful Easter break and are now fully focused with your teams to work towards successful certification. As with last month, we want to keep this month’s newsletter focused on just three important areas of support for you.

Our face-to-face networking events this summer are designed for UK centres delivering BTEC Entry/Level 1 to Level 3 and the BTEC Tech Awards from 2022, and will provide you with valuable networking opportunities with other BTEC centres.
Unfortunately, we have had to start to cancel some of the venues originally listed due to low booking numbers and we apologise that we cannot fulfil each of the promised locations. The remaining locations are under weekly review, so please book your place soon. We understand how busy this time of year is, but we think these events are valuable and hope to see as many of you as possible.

Bookings are to be made by quality nominees or a nominated person with a working knowledge of quality assurance.
For those unable to attend in person, we will be following up these face-to-face opportunities with online events in late June, though these will be briefer. |
We are sure your teams are doing all they can to proceed with standards verification, so this is just a friendly reminder for your lead internal verifiers to work with your allocated standards verifiers possible to ensure first samples are submitted by the deadline of 15 May for BTEC Entry / Level 1 QCF, BTEC Firsts and BTEC Nationals.
Remote samples for both Standard and Enhanced control measures should be submitted via the Learner Work Transfer platform, accessed via Edexcel Online.
