This year’s NAFSA annual conference in New Orleans is coming up next month! We would love to connect with you at the conference to learn more about what you are doing for your insurance and how we can support you and your students. Come visit us at Booth P1308 and say hello. Keep an eye out for our May newsletter with more information on our NAFSA team and how you can schedule a meeting with us. See you in the Big Easy! |
International students on Optional Practical Training (OPT) may not know what to do when it comes to their health insurance. Many school insurance plans do not continue to cover students on OPT, leaving them on their own. Some employers may cover the students during this time, however many of these plans have waiting periods or may not cover them at all. Our Student Secure plan provides flexibility to cover students for as short as 15 days to help cover the gap, or students can keep it for their entire OPT period. |
Mental Health Awareness Month: Nature and Mental Health |
With Mental Health Awareness Month coming up in May, we bring you our latest blog about how nature can impact your overall emotional wellness! For those living in big cities, the lack of access to nature can be detrimental and it may be even more important to make the long-awaited trip to spend some time away from all the hustle and bustle. Read our latest blog to find out what the research is saying and how you and your students can improve their overall mental health. |
Why does your Plan’s Network Matter? |
Having a US-based insurance plan has many benefits, but one benefit that often gets overlooked is the type of network the insurance plan uses. While benefits and pricing matter, the plan’s network can be just as important. Check out our latest blog which details why the network matters including how students can save money, how networks can streamline the process, and why a good network can make all the difference. |
