Q3 2023 Premiums and Wage Reports Due November 30

The 30-day deadline extension for Q3 wage filings expires November 30th, 2023. Because the original Q3 deadline has been extended, note that the system will default to the Q4 reporting period during the wage submission process. Make sure you select the correct reporting period when submitting your Q3 reports in MyUI Employer+.

What’s New with Premium Payments in MyUI Employer+?

Once your quarterly wage report has been submitted, you will be prompted to make an online payment from the confirmation page, or return to your Employer Home page to make a payment later. MyUI Employer+ also offers payment features including:
  • Premium reports (UITL - 1) no longer required
  • Automatically calculated premiums
  • Easy online transactions
  • Self-service payment plans and scheduling options
Don't forget!
  • You will need to obtain a non-electronic communication waiver to file paper reports. Request a paper waiver application from Employer Services at 303-318-9100.
  • Electronic and paper payments are allowed. Print a paper check voucher from your MyUI Employer+ account and include it with your paper check if you mailing your payment. Paper check payments cannot be processed correctly without a payment voucher.
Visit the MyUI Employer+ Resources page for more information on submitting wage reports and premium payments in the new system.

Need to Adjust Your Quarterly Wages? No Problem!

Formatting Your Wage Files

MyUI Employer+ now accepts four different wage file types; Delimited, ICESA, EFW2, and XML. File specifications for bulk and individual submissions are the same. Only ICESA file types should use the legacy EAN format.

Click the hyperlink on each file type to view and download a sample file:
  • Delimited - .txt or .csv file that can be exported from excel. The length of this file will vary and be accepted up to 20MB.
    • Use the EAN format found in MyUI Employer+. Example: 01234567
  • ICESA - .txt file in the NASWA standard file format. This will be 277 characters long.
    • Use the 9-digit legacy EAN format. Example: 123456007
  • EFW2 - .txt file formally known as MMREF-SSA. This will be 512 characters long.
    • Use the EAN format found in MyUI Employer+. Example: 01234567
  • XML - .xml file that will vary in length and be accepted up to 20MB.

Timeliness of Fact Finding Requests

If you were not able to respond to fact-finding requests in a timely manner during the MyUI Employer+ transition period, you may have received a Loss of Protest (LOP) Notification.

The Division is granting grace periods for fact-finding responses with good cause during this time. If you received an LOP during this time, you should have also received a nullification notice of that LOP.

If you did not receive a nullification of your LOP by October 31st, please log into MyUI Employer+ and appeal the LOP decision.
