Q3 2023 Premiums and Wage Reports Due November 30 |
The 30-day deadline extension for Q3 wage filings expires November 30th, 2023. Because the original Q3 deadline has been extended, note that the system will default to the Q4 reporting period during the wage submission process. Make sure you select the correct reporting period when submitting your Q3 reports in MyUI Employer+.

Formatting Bulk Wage Files |
MyUI Employer+ now accepts four different wage file types; Delimited, ICESA, EFW2, and XML. File specifications for bulk and individual submissions are the same. Only ICESA file types should use the legacy EAN format.
Click the hyperlink on each file type to view and download a sample file:
- Delimited - .txt or .csv file that can be exported from excel. The length of this file will vary and be accepted up to 20MB.
- Use the EAN format found in MyUI Employer+. Example: 01234567
- ICESA - .txt file in the NASWA standard file format. This will be 277 characters long.
- Use the 9-digit legacy EAN format. Example: 123456007
- EFW2 - .txt file formally known as MMREF-SSA. This will be 512 characters long.
- Use the EAN format found in MyUI Employer+. Example: 01234567
- XML - .xml file that will vary in length and be accepted up to 20MB.
- Use the EAN format found in MyUI Employer+. Example: 01234567
Things to keep in mind when filing client wage reports:
- File specifications for bulk and individual submissions are the same.
- When uploading bulk files, be sure to include the EAN for the proper employer.
- Only ICESA file types should use the legacy EAN format.
- Delimited, EFW2 and XML files should use the EAN format found on
- Employer accounts in MyUI Employer+.
- Premium reports are no longer required. MyUI Employer+ will automatically calculate the premiums owed based on the wage submission.

Quarterly Wage Adjustments |
TPAs can submit individual and bulk wage adjustments inside MyUI Employer+. Following the same process to file a bulk or individual client wage report, TPAs can submit adjustments from their TPA account. Adjusted will be available in your MyUI Employer+ immediately after it has been submitted. |

Timeliness of Fact Finding Requests |
If you were not able to respond to fact-finding requests in a timely manner during the MyUI Employer+ transition period, you may have received a Loss of Protest (LOP) Notification.
The Division is granting grace periods for fact-finding responses with good cause during this time. If you received an LOP during this time, you should have also received a nullification notice of that LOP.
If you did not receive a nullification of your LOP by October 31st, please log into MyUI Employer+ and appeal the LOP decision. |

Non-Electronic Communication Waivers |
Employers are now required to file documents, reports, and other correspondences with UI electronically using the MyUI Employer+ system.
Employers with limited to no internet access, or those with other good cause who wish to continue conducting business with UI by mail, must request a non-electronic communications waiver. Non-Electronic Communication Waivers must be renewed annually. |
