This month, we had the privilege of hosting Evergreen Baptist Church of Tulsa. God used them to make a remarkable impact, bringing love and joy, selflessly showing up for the local communities.
Their team of 27 took a week out of their lives to travel down here to enjoy the beautiful country of Guatemala, get acclimated to the culture and customs of the locals, and serve alongside us to make a profound difference.
Their selfless dedication to service helped transform lives
in four different villages.
When a group like Evergreen visits Guatemala to help, it benefits both the locals and the volunteers. Locals gain access to needed resources, skills, and knowledge, which can improve their living conditions, healthcare, education, and infrastructure. These efforts often lead to lasting positive changes. For the volunteers, it’s a chance to experience a new culture, grow personally, and better understand global issues. These trips build connections, promote empathy, and remind us of our shared humanity. In the end, they help create a more compassionate and connected world. |

Radical Missions organized Free Clinics in four villages, where the Evergreen team delivered crucial healthcare services and free medicine to those who lacked access. They addressed immediate needs, prevented future issues, and empowered individuals to care for themselves and their families by teaching good health practices. This improved overall health and resilience in the community, leaving a lasting impact. |
Members of the Evergreen team shared their faith with locals, strengthening the community's spiritual life by providing guidance and fostering unity and purpose among believers. These interactions led to
meaningful cultural exchanges, deepening mutual understanding and respect between people from different backgrounds. The connections and shared values that emerged had a profound and lasting impact on both the locals and the visiting team. |
|
The Evergreen team actively contributed to Radical Missions' construction efforts in Guatemala, helping us in our efforts to build churches and pastor's homes that greatly benefit the local community. Their work provided a vital space for worship, fellowship, and gatherings, strengthening the villages’ spiritual foundation. By aiding in the construction of a pastor's home, they ensured the spiritual leader had a stable place to live, allowing them to focus fully on their ministry without worrying about housing. These efforts created lasting physical and spiritual infrastructure, building a stronger, more connected community. |

Radical Missions provides turnkey services for groups of 1 to 30 interested in serving here in Guatemala. We provide everything you need so that you can focus on what is important. We provide accommodation, transportation
within the country, meals, translators, work projects, medical clinics, and evangelism opportunities.
The best time to plan a mission trip is actually in the
Fall and Winter. But we can work around your schedule as well, with Spring Break and Summer Trips being popular. All you have to do is arrange for flights to La Aurora International Airport. We will take care of the rest.
Many visitors from the U.S. have told us their trip down
here was a life changing experience for them. Many solo travelers have told us that this was the reset they needed. And we can tell you firsthand, every trip has proven to be a life changing experience for those touched here in Guatemala. God uses everyone that comes to serve in ways we sometimes don’t understand until many years down the road. |
