Happy Fall!

It has been quite the summer of national politics, community events, and County Board actions. With Fall in full swing, I wanted to share a few updates and hear what's on your mind.

First, see below for
upcoming highlights and opportunities for feedback - from our Board meetings this week to surveys on transportation, ranked choice voting and Gateway Park.

Second, please remember to
vote by November 5!

Third, look for a longer email recapping recent board actions soon.

Remember to Vote!

Consider voting early - quick, easy and you'll get fewer calls yourself ;)

Remind others to vote. Text, call, email your friends and family. Join a phone bank, canvass or postcard writing campaign.

Nationally, whatever your political leaning, I hope you will join me in supporting Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. This election is different and demands we reach beyond politics to choose democracy over authoritarianism and hope over hate.
Democrats for Harris
Independents for Harris
Republicans for Harris
Senator Tim Kaine and Rep. Don Beyer are exceptional leaders, who will continue to stand for every Virginian.
Locally, we are lucky to have eight committed candidates competing in the general election for open seats on the School Board and County Board. I am supporting Kathleen Clark, Zuraya Tapia-Hadley, J.D. Spain, and each of the local bond initiatives The County Board race will be ranked choice. Vote for your top three candidates, in your order of preference.
