Welcome to November's T Level Update.

We send these updates out to everyone who signs up for them. If you’re no longer the right person in your centre to receive these, please ask the relevant colleagues to sign up for T level updates to make sure they receive them directly to their inbox.
Now that T Levels have been running for four years, we are able to implement a more flexible Provider monitoring process.

We have published two new support documents on the training and admin support page, under the quality assurance and assessment heading. Please take time to read these and see how the changes impact you:
  • T Level Provider Monitoring QA Guidance, which explains how the process works.
  • T Level Provider Monitoring, a PDF version of the self-assessment form.
You can still make student registrations onto the Technical Qualification for cohorts starting this academic year.

The standard registration window is now closed; any registrations made will now be subject to late registration fees. You can find admin support videos on making registrations and managing student details on our training and admin support page.
Entries for the autumn 2024 series are still open. You must make an entry for every student wishing to enter the assessment.

Providers wishing to make entries for resits, please ensure you are familiar with the resit rules.

You can find admin support videos on making entries and assessment, results and re-sits on our training and admin support page
Providers with entries for the autumn series will start receiving question papers from Monday 18 November.

The yellow label service will be in place for you to return scripts, you will start receiving attendance registers and labels from Monday 18 November.

If you require access to electronic copies of question papers, for example if you make a very late entry or need to print onto coloured paper, they will be available to download from the BTEC and T Level assessment download page.

You will need Secure Download Service access on your Edexcel Online account to access secure material.
Entries for the Occupational Specialism for the summer 2025 series are open.
You must make an entry for every student wishing to enter the assessment.
Our autumn 2024 policy update podcast is now available on our training and admin support page. We talk about the roll-out of T Levels and the Generation 2 contracts and the DfE’s T Level Action Plan.

We will be running our annual exams officer/administrator training on 6 November, 12.00–13.00.

This online event is for anyone involved in the administration of the Technical Qualification, from undertaking Provider approval, to making registrations and entries, through to assessment scheduling.

The transition guide for those moving from BTEC Nationals in Construction to the T Level, including mapping of BTEC National units to the core content areas, is available on the course materials page.
