Updates and Reminders - December 18, 2024
AASA and AzSCI Test Administration Manuals

The Test Coordinator's Manuals and Test Administration Directions manuals for AASA and AzSCI are now available on the Achievement District Test Coordinator webpage and are linked below.
Paper copies of the AASA manuals will be shipped to districts and charters in March. Paper copies of the AzSCI manuals will not be provided. The electronic copies may be used for test administration, or paper copies may be printed locally.
AASA Important Dates

The Spring 2025 administration of AASA is now available in PearsonAccess Next (PAN), and Achievement District Test Coordinators can now begin the tasks detailed below. Additional information about completing each task is available in the PAN training modules in the AzLMS and in the Spring 2025 AASA and AzSCI PearsonAccess Next User's Guide. If you have difficulty accessing your Spring 2025 AASA DTC account in PAN, please contact us at AASA@azed.gov

December 18, 2024: Verify contact and shipping information in PAN. All changes or corrections must be made by notifying ADE at AASA@azed.gov no later than February 21, 2025. 

December 18, 2024: Create user accounts in PAN. District Test Coordinators and/or School Test Coordinators may create user accounts for School Test Coordinators, School Test Administrators, and/or Technology Coordinators. User accounts can be added manually or through an import file. 

December 18, 2024: Registration begins for Pearson Technology Office Hours. District or school technology personnel responsible for setting up devices for testing may schedule an office hours session. Office hours are available in 30-minute sessions, January 2 - January 24, 2025.

January 6 - 17, 2025: District Test Coordinators will enter participation counts for AASA Grades 3-8 and select the preferred materials due-in-district window for the delivery of test materials.

ACT Webinars

The ACT Test Administration #1 webinar was held on November 6, and the ACT Accommodations webinar was held on November 13. The webinar recordings and slides are now available on the ACT-hosted website. If you were unable to attend the live events, please view the webinar recordings. All Test Coordinators should view either the live webinar or the recording for each ACT-hosted webinar. An additional webinar, ACT Test Administration #2, will be held on February 19. The registration link is included below.

ACT Accommodations

Initial requests for ACT accommodations and EL supports must be submitted to ACT in the Test Accessibility and Accommodations (TAA) no later than February 7, 2025. This is a firm deadline, so please submit your requests early! 

ACT is also hosting Accommodations Office Hours through March 18, 2025. Please visit the ACT Accommodations Office Hours registration page for dates, topics, and registrations links.
