A Series of Small Group Reflections
As Unitarian Universalists recently affirmed seven Shared Values that define our faith, this series explores each one, using a podcast episode from a diverse list of pods as the "text" to generate thought, discussion, and learning together. In October, we began with a covenanting session and discussed how we care for one another.

In January, we will focus on our shared value of Transformation.

Using Phoebe Judge’s interview with Dan Stevenson for the Criminal podcast as food for thought, we will discuss our power to transform our own communities and whether we as human beings share a sense of what is sacred.

We gather on Wednesday, January 08 from 7:00 to 8:00(ish)pm ET. We will open the Zoom room at 6:30pm and stream the episode during an optional pre-gathering listening session. Come prepared to listen and share ideas in our learning community!

Sign up now to receive the Zoom link for this gathering and further information about our gatherings taking place on the second Wednesdays of the month through May 2025. More information is available on our website.

Skinner Sermon Award:

It comes with a $500 honorarium.

Religious Education Curriculum: How is it working for us?

There are some patterns and pathways emerging as we notice what’s working and where we’re headed as UUs tending faith development in congregations. We’ll dive into models designed to help you find your place on the “curriculum continuum” and focus on what matters most for your congregation in this moment.

Religious Education Meet-Ups are open to all professional and lay leaders engaged in the work of faith development in our congregations.

Registration is free and required.

UUA’s Faith Development Co-Lab, a joint working group of the Lifespan Faith Engagement and Congregational Life offices, sponsors this quarterly gathering.
