EAL TIP - Powerful Coaching Questions

The Heart of Coaching is Asking Powerful Questions to Guide Clients to their Answers

When we started facilitating EAL, we found ourselves focusing on possible coaching questions to use with clients. We thought the magic was found in asking the perfect question but then we learned the magic was found in being present and authentic with clients. Being active listeners to perceive information from the participants, the horses, and our own intuition. Then taking in that information to respond in the moment to what was happening and utilizing the Five Question Model that we teach in our Certification training.

Some find it helpful to support themselves as facilitators by learning and periodically reviewing powerful questions. To support you in this, here are two great lists of 73 Coaching Questions:
